As they say

Shit gets deeper

Be interested to see where that goes.

Along with the easier to fact check scenarios that "cops are being murdered by illegals" (1 cop in Arizona killed over the last two years, by one of two garden variety American home grown criminal asshole wanted on an outstanding felony warrant), illegals can get signed up for food stamps and social security as soon as they get here (not without fraud, even legal immigrants must wait for years to sign up), crime is rampant (crime is declining, nationwide, including in Arizona and along the borders), and so on, it leads me to wonder what exactly people in Arizona think they wanted and were getting for this law to be passed. Or, for that matter, the rest of the country. Which also doesn't seem to mind racial profiling and decreased police cooperation for immigrants to get at the illegals among them.

The charitable interpretation is that people in Arizona (and elsewhere) wanted the federal government to reform its messy immigration laws. What is less clear is in what way they intend them to be reformed.

(And why yes, I did just drop a Training Day reference up there).
