I was confident that the jury would be pretty smart on that one, mostly because it required Roeder to talk. And that's pretty much all anyone would need to see to decide on "he's crazy".
I'm still not sure why the judge even admitted it as a possible defence option myself. Maybe he wanted to get it on the record that this wasn't a defence. I don't know.

Phew. That manslaughter option made me somewhat nervous. I think I'm finally not underestimating how stupid people can be. At least some of the time.
