It could have been a Conjurer
Before and after haunting footsteps
So easily it wisped to being

It could have been a Demon's
Breath of smoke and fire and ash
So acute the moment's flare

It could have been the Enchantress'
Impish grin laughing in memory
So the beauty once captivating as she

It could have been the dark Lake
Deep and reflecting nothing
So empty and cold the feel

It could have been the Blade's
Edge, shining against the light
So eviscerated and bled was he

Twas the smallest smile upon the Mirror's
Face that brought him low
So intertwined were they

Aren't you supposed to be working?

I've reached a halfway point, calling it finishable tomorrow. Thanks for the um, nugde. Hey, nudge! Lexulous!

Someone has to keep the people motivated. But I only have the one whip arm to do it with.

Uh oh, are you injured too? Or just better at whipping with one hand than the other?

Sun Tzu said...

I suppose I could use both arms with two whips. But I lack the motivational abilities to use two whips.

But you're good for one-sided whipping. Nice. Moderation in all things. Including moderation.

Just so long as it's not some sort of BDSM thing, yes. Motivation is better than titillation (at least via that particular fetish).

I find moderation in moderation to be a useful ideal at least. Not sure that it's humanly possible given its paradoxical sense of nature.

In any case, what's with the swooning.

No, no dom/sub, I'll keep my prude reputation (I must have some freaky deaky friends). Black leather's best on shoes and handbags, perhaps a belt but not a whip. Let's not ruin accessories with smut [sarcasm emoticon].

Yeah, that's my point. Moderation most of the time, but that wouldn't be moderate, so every once in a while finish the bottle of wine, eat the entire candy bar (or box of pasta or what have you), sleep twelve hours, etc. What can I say, I'm a glutton at heart.

Poetry, that's what. Lovely.

Fair enough.

I'm pretty sure an entire box of pasta, with sauce, olive oil, garlic, and cheese is only about 1000-1200 calories. And I seem to need about 3000+ a day. In other words, eating the entire box at once seems quite sensible.

You make it work ;-).
