another stupid lawsuit

We have some dumb people out there. Of course, the fact that they're working at McDonald's probably shows something to begin with. But still, I'm not amused. I have no idea what idiot lawyer thought this was a case to begin with, but it's all the more reason to try to get on some civil juries that decide lawsuits. I'd be counter-suing this woman for wasting our time. Did she suffer, sure. Was it someone else's fault, yes. Who should she sue? The person that did this to her. Not the giant corporation she happened to work for, because there is nothing they could have done to protect against her lack of common sense. But since there's no money and since the guy was acquitted, probably no case, let's waste everyone's time and sue the big dog that didn't bark. This is highly ridiculous, not quite as bad as the coffee lawsuit, or people suing because they got fat, but pretty bad.

Update: It would appear the jury awarded the foolish lady who didn't seem to understand that human events and behavior had swung wildly out of proportion to the accusations against her at the time and could (should) have just left, 6.1 million dollars. Another victory for the crusade of stupidity. I'm not even sure finding and moving to another country is enough at this point; I might need another planet. This is quite pathetic.
