Not to gain any points from me on his supposed libertarian street cred that was such a big deal.
Like with Palin's supposed credibility on that front as well, I'm just not seeing it. Perhaps since "libertarian" in mediaspeak means "political loon with views that are not accepted by mainstream political observers and politicians", it will start make more sense why Palin and (Rand) Paul were considered libertarian in the first place. But as of right now, I'd have to say that somebody with a more statist view of controlling social AND economic matters than the current President isn't close to being in the fucking club and hence getting our cool secret decoder ring and set of knock-knock jokes.
And he doesn't want to be considered anyway. So quit trying.
